Snowy February

Updated: Feb 21, 2021

Welcome back! We've missed all of you. Our meetings are still virtual until we feel it is safe to meet in person.

Just in case you missed the meeting or would like a recap, here is what happened:

Our special guest Andrea from Bumbletees (LQS) jumped on to talk about the portrait class on April 10th. There will be an in-person (1-4 pm) and a virtual option (845-1145 am). The course is priced at $65 and includes a fabric kit. You'll have an opportunity to speak with Bumbletees to cultivate your individual kit for your chosen face. Want more details or to sign up, please visit the Bumbletees website.

Like Libs Elliot? Well, she will be teaching a class on Y seams and virtual trunk show next month. Sign-ups for the Y seams class will open later this week so stay tuned. The class will be on March 13th from 9-4 pm with an hour for lunch from 12-1 pm. This class is virtual and may have a nominal fee attached.

In July, we will have an Aurifilosopher talk with us about their excellent thread. There may be swag, so be sure to stop by!

Our virtual retreat and schedule are in the works and posted as soon as it is ready.

Our Round Robin starts today! The sign-ups close today at 10 pm. Feel free to start your medallion, row, and column today. We will start the actual swap at our March meeting. Feel free to post your initial row on social media and sneaky peeks of your additional rounds. The final product is an absolute surprise! Mailing or porch drop-off is perfectly acceptable! Click here for the instructions and click here for the sign-up form.

Our Community Outreach is a donation quilt to St. Columba for their summer auction. Stay tuned for the exact date of final submissions. Click here for the instructions for the pattern we are using! If you have any questions, please reach out to us for more information!

That's all for now. We look forward to seeing you next time!
