Happy New Year!

Good morning to all my quilty friends!

We had our first meeting of the year and it was a blast. To kick off the meeting, we revealed our 80s challenge projects. It was amazing as everyone is so talented. I have uploaded the pictures so you can see the beautiful work.

We introduced this year's Guild board:

Meghan M. - President

Emma L. - Vice President

Sally N. - Secretary

Heather S. - Treasurer

Mary A. - Programs Chair

Sarah T. - Community Outreach

Cheryl R. - Social Engagement

Rachel K. - Social Engagement

Camille M. - Social Media

Jackie W. - President Emeritus

We also asked for volunteers to help coordinate this year's shop hop. If you are interested, please reach out to anyone on the board. Additionally, we asked for someone to volunteer their yard for the Yard Sale on September 17th.

If you have not paid your dues for this year, please do so by February 13th. Access the link to pay online in our FAQ section.

We put out the details for the next challenge: Hideous Fabric! The rules are as follows:

Using the fabric provided in your brown bag, you need to create a modern and pleasing quilt or quilt top. You need to incorporate at least 1 fat quarter's worth of your hideous fabric. The reveal will be at June's meeting. Good luck and happy sewing!

January's member spotlight was Karen McNeil! She showed us fabulous quilts including one that won its category at the Davies Plantation Quilt Show this past November. Congratulations! We look forward to seeing more great things from you!

Last but not least we showed off our Show and Tell.
